We treat any information you submit to us as confidential. It is our policy not to sell or rent any of your personal information for any kind of commercial purpose.
Information We Collect
When you visit ppba.org, we record your Internet provider's domain name and top level domain (e.g., domain.org); information identifying the web browser you are using; and the paths taken as you move from page to page (i.e., your click-stream activity). We occasionally use standard web server log files to help us count visitors and evaluate our site's technical capacity. We occasionally use this information to find out how many people visit the PPBA website, help us arrange the pages in the most user-friendly way, keep the site browser-friendly, and to make our pages more useful to our visitors. We record information on site traffic but not information on individual visitors to our site, so no information about you in particular will be kept or used.
Visitor Registration or Requests for Information
PPBA only collects personal information that you choose to provide voluntarily when ordering from us online, joining a mailing list, or otherwise explicitly volunteering personal information. "Personal information" includes information that can identify you as a specific individual, such as your name and e-mail address. While you can browse our site without submitting any personal information, you will need to submit personal information whenever you place an order, join a mailing list, or register for the Community. Any and all personal information you submit to ppba.org is treated confidentially. It is our policy not to sell or rent any of your personal information for any kind of commercial purpose.
E-mail, Mailing Lists, and Other Services
When you send us an e-mail, we may use your e-mail address to thank you for your comment and/or reply to your question, and we occasionally will store your communication and our reply in case we correspond further. Beyond our initial reply, we will never use your e-mail address to send you any unsolicited message or information, nor will we share it with or sell it to anyone else for such use. When you request information from PPBA, or if you register for the PPBA Online Community, we use your e-mail address and any other information you give us to provide you with the information you requested or products that you ordered. We will not use your e-mail address, mailing address, or other information to provide you with any unsolicited message or information. If you voluntarily sign up for a PPBA mailing list, we will occasionally send specific relevant e-mails (e.g., ministry news, products announcements, bookstore specials) to you. We never sell or rent any of your personal information for any kind of commercial purpose.
Linking to Other Sites
Please remember that when you use a link to go from ppba.org to another web site, the PPBA Online Privacy Policy is no longer in effect. Your browsing and interaction on any other web site, including any site that has a link on ppba.org, is subject to the rules and policies of that site. We encourage you to read the rules and policies of the sites you visit to further understand their procedures for collecting, using, and disclosing personal and/or business information.
Our Policy Regarding Sharing of Information
Our policy is simple: we treat any information you submit to us as confidential. We never sell or rent any of your personal information for any kind of commercial purpose. Occasionally, and for noncommercial ministry purposes only, we may cooperate with a partnering organization on a one-time basis to promote a PPBA Ministries event, project, or resource. Such use would be only with an organization that was in agreement with our goals and beliefs as a ministry, and for a purpose that was consistent with our exempt purpose as a ministry. In either case, neither party would financially profit from the use, and names would be used for a single purpose and could not be added to the partnering organization's mailing list except by request of the customer.
How to Update or Correct Your Personal Information
To modify or delete your personal information, simply follow the instructions included in your e-mail, or send a reply stating your request to ppba@ppba.org, and we will make the requested changes.
Changes to the Whole Heart Online Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy was posted in November 2007. PPBA reserves the right to change, modify or amend this policy at any time. PPBA takes privacy matters very seriously, and intends to stay at the forefront of privacy policy and protection matters. We will occasionally update our privacy policy and we will post those updates on this page. You are responsible for revisiting this page to review our privacy policy updates.
